One of the ladies on the Frugal Living forum recommended AC as a goood way to make money online. I tried it , and have been writing there and making money for a couple of months now. It's cool, I really love it. I can stay home with my kids. It's easy. They actually pay me.

I recommend it to anyone who needs to make a little extra money(or more than a little, if you're good and get a lot of page views).

I don't make too much, but enough to make up what I need to be able to stay home. And that's all I want, at least right now.

Ok. So I lasted ONE day at my new job. I simply couldn't stand it. Some people are pissed at me, including my husband and in-laws. I don't want to be away from my kids. The baby is too young. I'm going to HAVE to find a way to make more money on ebay. I would have only made about 250 a week at that horrible job. If I have to work I want to at least NOT HATE my job. If I can find a waitressing job with good tips, I would only have to work a couple nights a week. Yes I'm ranting, but I really have no one to talk to about this. No one understands or agrees with me. The baby walked for the first time and I missed it! I was only gone one day at work! Maybe I'll write more when I'm not mad anymore and can think clearly.

Working Girl

Unfortunately I am no longer a stay at home mom. Our car broke down, and we were late on our phone bill and it got shut off.I have dial-up so I couldn't use the computer. It was hell. I knew I was addicted to the internet, but at least it makes me a little bit of money(ebay, etc).But not, obviously, enough to pay all of our bills. Actually I only felt sorry for myself for a little while. I think I really need to get out of the house more often. And It's nice to be able to talk to other adults, and put on make-up , and fix my hair and wear something other than jeans and a sweatshirt. I will still make it a goal to make at least one post a day, for all of my fans out there in InternetLand.

Fish & Chips

I made Fish&Chips for the gang tonite. We haven't gone out to eat for a long time so I thought I would give everyone a treat. This whole dinner for 5 cost less than $2 to make .The fish was free from the inlaws. It took a long time to cook though, because I only have one pan that deep frys well. But it was yummy and cheap,and that's all that should matter,right?

My Fat Pants Part 2

Well, it looks like my diet is working in the opposite direction. I got on the scale today and I gained one pound. But I guess I can't be too shocked, sinse that's how my diets ALWAYS go.Here's that picture of my Fat Pants compared to my size 3 pants.

(Yes, I know those are really ugly sheets but thats a king size bed, and king size sheets are expensive, and those were free.)

Saving money on books

I read way too much. I don't drive, so going to the library is usually out of the question, because I don't like to walk that far with my two littler ones. I still have an insatiable appetite for reading material,and I like to save money, so I have to get my books cheaply. Most often I get them at the thriftstore, where they can be as low as .05 cents on sale days, but are usually .50 cents each.. (I also look for ebayable books while I'm there). I don't get there often, as I live sort of out in the middle of knowwhere, so when I do go, I usually leave with a huge stack to sustain my reading habit. I also sometimes buy Lots of books on ebay, (usually science fiction lots on ebay can be as cheap as the thrift store prices--same for romance books, if you like those). I also go to every local Library Sale or large rummage sale.

My Fat Pants

I started a new diet and I'll keep you updated. Right now I'm 139 pounds, and I'm aiming for 117. That's the lowest recommended weight for my height(I'm 5ft 5). And it will hopefully get me back into my size 3 pants, which I bought right before getting pregnant(and ballooning up to my all-time high of 185, but that's for another post.) I'll take a picture of my size 3 pants, next to my Fat Pregnant Lady Pants, and post it later. I'll wait till my husband leaves for work, though.

He already thinks I'm strange enough as it is.

Cheap Fun

YaY! It's almost summer! I love summer. It's my favorite time of year. I took baby to the beach for the first time. He loved it. I wish I would have gotten a picture with his face in the sand when he decided he wanted to see how it tastes, but I was too busy trying to get sand out of his mouth. Here's a few that I did get. And sinse I live a block from the beach, it's a way I can entertain the kids for free.

I'm writing this blog to share my frugal life and hopefully meet some like-minded frugalites who like saving money. I'm a happily married mom of three wonderful, yet bratty kids. I chose to be a stay at home mom so I can sit on my ass and eat bon-bons all day. Except I can't always afford bon-bons because I'm not working, thus my road to frugalism began.
